We have switched to a deposit payment system (see below)!
The printer can be found **in the entry hall of the Sinkuleho dormitory** (3rd hall, where the reception is), by the baguette vending machine.
Print history and account details can be found on [[https://print.sin.cvut.cz]] after logging in to MyQ system.

You can recharge your printing account with a **czech wire transfer** (this requires a czech bank accnout, SEPA/SWIFT is not supported):\\
Payment with incorrect symbols will not be processed! Minimum deposit amount is 200CZK!

But don't worry, you can ask for your unused credit back in case you're leaving the dorm - simply contact printer admins at tisk@sin.cvut.cz
If you are unable to perform a Czech wire transfer, ask your Czech friend for help, or the Chairman for recharging your printing account in cash: [[predseda@sin.cvut.cz]]
Payments get processed usually in less than 10 minutes, after which you will receive a confirmation email. In case your payment wasn't processed correctly, and has not been assigned in ~2 days, please contact the printer managers: **[[tisk@sin.cvut.cz]]**, same for refunds and chargebacks.
===== The deposit system =====
**The minimum deposit amount is 200CZK.** Your printing account must have been funded to the minimum deposit amount at least once per deposit period.
**The deposit period is one year**, from 1st of January to the 31st of December (inclusive) in a given year.
How-to:
- Fund your printing account with at least 200CZK, which will activate it (you'll get an email)
- Print and recharge your account thought the deposit period (year) as you wish
- On the new year:
- If you have at least 200CZK on your printing account, it will stay activated.
- If you have less than 200CZK on your printing account, it will deactivate (you'll get an email), if you wish to reactivate it, recharge your account to at least 200CZK or ask for a refund by sending an email to tisk@sin.cvut.cz (see above).
We have introduced the deposit system to save on accounting costs, which helps to keep the printing as cheap as possible.

===== MyQ System =====
** Log in to the MyQ system on address [[https://print.sin.cvut.cz]]. **
MyQ is a printing management system. It allows for submitting print jobs to the server. They are released after authentication on the physical printer (release-on-tap). It offers features such as print job submission and monitoring, user authentication, mobile printing and scanning.
You can log in to MyQ using your username (likely name.surname), or your own (SINIS) email and SINIS password on [[https://print.sin.cvut.cz]].
You can submit, or monitor jobs, view spent and recharged credits on your printing account.

You can submit a print job straight from the web interface. This is especially suitable for occasional printing.

**MyQ web interface can only be accessed from the CTU network.**
==== Email attachment ====
Print jobs can also be submitted as attachments to an email sent to **[[printer@sin.cvut.cz]]**. The default settings are //colour//, //simplex// and //no toner saving//. This can be changed by adding the following keywords into the email's Subject field:

Job admission via email takes roughly 30 seconds. If an error occurs (e.g. unsupported format), the system returns an error message.
==== Printing over the network using IPPS ====
Print jobs can be submitted over the IPPS protocol (Internet printing protocol secured) on address [[ipps://print.sin.cvut.cz:443/queue/Default]], **but it's necessary to add a username** that corresponds to your SINIS username (likely //name.surname//).
**Adding a printer on Linux:** (it's necessary to change the username!):

And then reboot your computer.
**Adding a printer on Windows** using PowerShell (it's necessary to edit the username!):

Execution takes up to several minutes. If you wish to use the graphical interface to set up a printer on WIndows, use [[https://uzivatelske.jmeno@print.sin.cvut.cz:443/queue/Default]] as the printer's address.

**Printing using a client application is only available from the CTU network.**

iOS: Search and install //MyQ X// on the App Store.
To finish the print job, you need to sign in to the printer using your ISIC, or your SINIS credentials!
===== Scan =====
Scanning on both panel and feeder can be performed with a resolution of up to 600dpi. Feeder scan is prioritized if paper is present (a blue indicator light is on).
==== Scan to email ====
Scanning and sending file(s) to the user's (personal, or "school email" in SINIS) email. The system sends the scan as an attachment up to 24MB, otherwise, a download link on the MyQ system is sent instead. The system sends emails from the address printer@sin.cvut.cz - check the SPAM folder in case no email was received.
The default settings are a 200dpi PDF with JPEG compression, so the resulting file can easily be sent as an attachment. That corresponds to tens of coloured pages with text and colour graphics.

==== Logging in ====
You can log in to the printer using your SINIS username (usually "firstname.surname", see in SINIS) and password, or by tapping your ISIC, if you have registered it.
How to register ISIC (or different RFID card, like the CTU card, Lítačka,...):
- Log in with your username and password
- Tap and "ID Card Registration" (bottom left)
- Tap the ISIC onto the reader (left to the printer's console)
- Next time, you can log in just by tapping your ISIC card on the reader

You have not recharged your account to the minimum deposit amount in this deposit period (see above). Refund your account and it should get reactivated within cca 15 minutes (you'll get an email). If it is not reactivated after 48 hours, please contact us at tisk@sin.cvut.cz
