===== Set up Wi-Fi on Windows ===== ==== Automated way ==== We are making available the following configuration script for Windows: [[https://git.sin.cvut.cz/sincoolka/sin-net-setup-windows/archive/v1.4.1.zip|SIN Net Setup – Windows (version 1.4.1)]] The script will require administrator rights to run. If you don't have them, then please follow the manual instructions on the bottom. How to use it: - Extract downloaded archive and enter directory **sin-net-setup-windows** - **Right-click sin-setup.bat** and select **Run as administrator**. Choose "Yes" if asked to elevate privileges. - Choose **1 - Configure Wi-Fi connection - Sincoolka FT** by pressing **number one** on your keyboard, followed by Enter. - If successful, you can close the command line window. Then: - Turn on the Wi-Fi. - Left-click the Wi-Fi icon in the system tray. - Find the **Sincoolka FT** network in the list, click it and click **Connect**. - After a short wait, you should see the login fields. Please fill in your SIN username //(all lowercase!)// and SINIS password and confirm by OK. - **If your password was correct, and the MAC address is registered in our system, you should get connected**. //Sometimes the login needs to be repeated two or three times. You may want to verify that your email and password is correct.// ==== Manual way ==== In case you have issues with the login, check that you really enter correct SIN username and password. If it doesn't work, try adding the network manually: The pictures are outdated (FIXME)! Please follow mainly the text instructions.
