How to find MAC address in Android

For newer Androids (7 and up), you will find your MAC address this way:

  1. Enter Settings > Wi-Fi
  2. Here,
    1. turn on Wi-Fi
    2. find the menu and choose Advanced
  3. In the lower part of this screen, you should find a MAC address of your Wi-Fi adapter. Send it, please, to our e-mail admin@sin.cvut.cz. Also, please include what device are you registering. Alternatively, visit us in LAB during office hours.

In case you are unable to find your MAC address, there is another way:

  1. Turn on Wi-Fi
  2. Go to Settings > About phone - it's in the bottom
  3. Here, choose either Status or Hardware information. In one of these screens, you should find your Wi-Fi MAC address.
  4. Send it, please, to our e-mail admin@sin.cvut.cz. Also, please include what device are you registering. Alternatively, visit us in LAB during office hours.
